I am proud of being founder of RAJAT . In the middle of 2004, I felt some different kind of symptoms in some of my patients. I observed and consulted books. I reached the conclusion and discussed with my other colleagues. I was surprised to see that these symptoms were strange then I thought again and found HIV/AIDS. Now I am explaining the story of my first HIV +ve patient whose suicidal death initiated me to work in this field.

The above said patient suffering from fever came in my clinic for his treatment. All investigations were done but nothing abnormality was found in his reports, I was surprised to see this.

On his 2^ND visit he was complaining of diarrhea on & off. Now I become suspicious and suggested his attended for HIV test but the patients refused to do so.After a few days I am came to know that the patients had committed suicide after knowing his status.

On that very day I made up my mind to create awareness among people about this fatal disease so that no one could die of ignorance.

Monaj’s requested me to help to work for physically challenged. Then I assured him and asked him to come some other day.

We collectively Decided to work for typical, fatal strange disease. So this was the history of RAJAT’’s foundation.

I feel he(manoj) has worked very hard and has unified a team of doctors, lawyers, journalists, Teachers & other activists of the field.

I am fully satisfied with the work. If I get another life then I will do work for the pandemic disease. Besides this our constant work on Malaria, TB and home for old aged is also on footing.
